جامعة السويس تفتتح الملتقى الطلابي الثامن بكلية العلوم: تكريم الرواد وإبراز دور العلوم في التنمية

افتتح صباح اليوم أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس جامعـــــة السويـــــس فعاليات الملتقى الطلابي الثامن لكلية العلوم، بحضور نواب رئيس الجامعة، عمداء الكليات، أعضاء هيئة التدريس، أ.د. وليد عبد الكريم عميد كلية العلوم، إلى جانب الطلاب والضيوف الكرام.

وفي كلمته رحّب رئيس الجامعة بالحضور الكريم، مشيرًا بفخر إلى أن كلية العلوم كانت دائمًا صاحبة الريادة في إطلاق فكرة المؤتمرات والملتقيات الطلابية منذ سنوات، لتؤكد دورها الطليعي في دعم الأنشطة العلمية والطلابية، وترسيخ ثقافة الحوار والبحث والابتكار بين أبنائها.

وأكد “حنيجــــــــــل” على أن كلية العلوم تمثل القلب النابض للجامعة، فهي تمد كل فروع المعرفة بأساسها المتين، وتغذي مختلف المجالات بالبحث والاكتشاف والتجريب، موضحًا أن العلوم الأساسية هي المنطلق الذي تُبنى عليه الهندسة والتكنولوجيا والطب والطاقة والبيئة وغيرها من المجالات التي تشكل دعائم التنمية والتقدم.

وأشار رئيس جامعة السويس إلى أن القيادة السياسية، بقيادة الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، شددت على أن الاستثمار الحقيقي هو الاستثمار في العقول الشابة، باعتبارها الثروة الوطنية التي تصنع المستقبل. كما أكد وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي أ.د. عبد العزيز قنصوه على ضرورة ربط التخصصات العلمية بسوق العمل وتطوير البرامج الأكاديمية بما يتماشى مع احتياجات العصر، وهو ما تجسده كلية العلوم من خلال الجمع بين البحث العلمي الرصين والتطبيق العملي.

ثم وجّه رئيس الجامعة حديثه المباشر إلى طلاب الكلية قائلاً:
“إن مستقبل الوطن مرهون بقدرتكم على تحويل العلم إلى عمل، والمعرفة إلى ابتكار، والطموح إلى إنجاز. أنتم أمام فرصة عظيمة لتكونوا جيلًا فاعلًا يحمل راية التقدم، ويثبت أن كلية العلوم قادرة بعقول أبنائها على تحقيق ما تطمح إليه القيادة السياسية والوزارة من استثمار في العقول الشابة وربط التخصصات بسوق العمل.”

أعرب عميد كلية العلوم عن سعادته بانعقاد الملتقى الثامن، مؤكدًا أن الكلية تسعى دائمًا إلى تعزيز دور الطلاب في البحث العلمي والابتكار، وربط مخرجات التعليم باحتياجات المجتمع وسوق العمل. وأشاد بجهود الطلاب في تقديم مشاريع بحثية متميزة، تعكس وعيهم العلمي وقدرتهم على الإبداع والمنافسة.

وقد شهد الملتقى سلسلة من الفعاليات المتكاملة التي عكست روح العلم والوفاء معًا؛ حيث قام رئيس الجامعة بتفقد المشاريع البحثية المقدمة من الطلاب في مجالات الفيزياء والكيمياء والبيولوجيا والبيئة والطاقة، والتي أبرزت قدرة الطلاب على تحويل المعرفة إلى تطبيقات عملية تخدم المجتمع. كما انعقدت جلسات علمية لمناقشة هذه الأبحاث وتحكيمها من قبل أساتذة الكلية، في أجواء من التنافس العلمي الجاد.

ولم يقتصر الملتقى على الجانب العلمي فقط، بل تخلله جانب إنساني مهم، حيث تم إهداء الدروع التذكارية لرواد الكلية من الأساتذة الذين أفنوا سنوات عمرهم في خدمة الكلية وأبنائها، تقديرًا لعطائهم العلمي والإنساني. كما تم إهداء درع تكريم لجمعية الرياضيات المصرية تقديرًا لدورها في دعم البحث العلمي والتعاون الأكاديمي، بالإضافة إلى إهداء درع تكريم لمعالي رئيس الجامعة الأستاذ الدكتور أشرف حنيجل، عرفانًا بدعمه المستمر للكلية والأنشطة الطلابية. واختُتمت الفعاليات بتكريم الطلاب المتميزين في الأبحاث والأنشطة العلمية، ليظل هذا الملتقى شاهدًا على تلاقي الأجيال في خدمة العلم والوطن.

وقد تميز الملتقى هذا العام بلفتة خاصة، حيث تم تكريم أسرة طلاب “من أجل مصر” تقديرًا لدورها البارز في دعم الأنشطة الطلابية، وتسلم درع التكريم الدكتور أحمد الدسوقي رائد الأسرة. كما شهد الملتقى مشاركة مميزة من المدرسة المصرية اليابانية، حيث عرض طلابها مشاريع مبتكرة تضمنت نموذجًا لسيارة إطفاء تعمل بالاستشعار الحراري، إلى جانب سيارة ذكية متعددة الاستخدامات، مما يعكس روح التعاون الدولي والإبداع العلمي بين الطلاب.

Suez University Opens the Eighth Student Forum at the Faculty of Science: Honoring Pioneers and Highlighting the Role of Science in Development

This morning, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, inaugurated the activities of the Eighth Student Forum of the Faculty of Science, in the presence of the university vice presidents, deans of faculties, faculty staff members, Prof. Dr. Walid Abdel Karim, Dean of the Faculty of Science, in addition to students and distinguished guests.

In his speech, the University President welcomed the attendees, proudly noting that the Faculty of Science has always been a pioneer in launching the idea of student conferences and forums for many years, reaffirming its leading role in supporting scientific and student activities and promoting a culture of dialogue, research, and innovation among its students.

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal emphasized that the Faculty of Science represents the beating heart of the university, as it provides all branches of knowledge with their solid foundations and enriches various fields through research, discovery, and experimentation. He explained that the basic sciences constitute the starting point upon which engineering, technology, medicine, energy, environmental studies, and other fields that form the pillars of development and progress are built.

The President of Suez University further noted that the political leadership, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, has stressed that the true investment lies in investing in young minds, considering them the national wealth that shapes the future. He also pointed out that the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, emphasized the importance of linking scientific disciplines to the labor market and developing academic programs in line with the needs of the modern era. This vision, he added, is embodied by the Faculty of Science through its integration of rigorous scientific research with practical application.

The University President then addressed the students directly, saying:

“Your nation’s future depends on your ability to transform science into action, knowledge into innovation, and ambition into achievement. You have a great opportunity to become an active generation that carries the banner of progress and proves that the Faculty of Science, through the minds of its students, is capable of achieving the aspirations of the political leadership and the ministry regarding investment in young minds and linking academic disciplines to the labor market.”

For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Science expressed his pleasure at the convening of the eighth forum, affirming that the faculty continuously seeks to strengthen students’ role in scientific research and innovation while connecting educational outcomes with the needs of society and the labor market. He praised the students’ efforts in presenting outstanding research projects that reflect their scientific awareness and their ability to innovate and compete.

The forum featured a series of integrated activities reflecting both the spirit of science and gratitude. The University President toured the research projects presented by students in the fields of physics, chemistry, biology, environment, and energy, which demonstrated the students’ ability to transform knowledge into practical applications that serve society. Scientific sessions were also held to discuss and evaluate these research projects by faculty professors in an atmosphere of serious academic competition.

The forum was not limited to the scientific aspect alone; it also included an important humanitarian dimension. Commemorative shields were presented to the faculty’s pioneering professors who devoted years of their lives to serving the faculty and its students, in appreciation of their academic and humanitarian contributions. A shield of honor was also presented to the Egyptian Mathematical Society in recognition of its role in supporting scientific research and academic cooperation. In addition, a shield of appreciation was awarded to the University President, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, in gratitude for his continuous support of the faculty and student activities.

The activities concluded with honoring distinguished students in research and scientific activities, making this forum a lasting testament to the meeting of generations in the service of science and homeland.

This year’s forum was distinguished by a special gesture, as the student family “For Egypt” was honored in recognition of its outstanding role in supporting student activities. The shield of honor was received by Dr. Ahmed El-Desouky, the family’s mentor. The forum also witnessed a remarkable participation from the Japanese School, whose students presented innovative projects, including a prototype of a fire truck powered by thermal sensors and a multifunctional smart car, reflecting the spirit of international cooperation and scientific creativity among students.
