رئيس جامعة السويس يتابع إجراءات تخصيص أرض الجامعة الأهلية بمدينة السويس الجديدة ويؤكد دعم الدولة للتوسع في التعليم الجامعي الحديث

قام أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيس جامعة السويس، بزيارة إلى مقر جهاز مدينة السويس الجديدة لمتابعة إجراءات تخصيص الأرض المخصصة لجامعة السويس الأهلية، يرافقه أ.د. عزالدين حسيني جاد نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون التعليم والطلاب، د. أحمد الدسوقي مدير البرامج بجامعة السويس الأهلية. وكان في استقبالهم المهندسة أسماء مخلوف رئيس جهاز مدينة السويس الجديدة، والدكتور المهندس نادر نبيه المستشار الهندسي بمجلس الوزراء، حيث عُقد اجتماع لمناقشة مستجدات تخصيص الأرض وخطط التنمية والتوسعات التي تشهدها المدينة، بما يدعم تنفيذ مشروع جامعة السويس الأهلية وفق رؤية الدولة للتوسع في إنشاء الجامعات الحديثة وتطوير منظومة التعليم العالي.

وخلال اللقاء، استعرضت المهندسة أسماء مخلوف الخطط التنموية التي يشهدها جهاز مدينة السويس الجديدة، وما تتضمنه من مشروعات تنموية وتوسعات عمرانية وخدمية تستهدف دعم التنمية المستدامة بالمدينة، إلى جانب استعراض موقف الأرض الجاري تخصيصها لجامعة السويس الأهلية، وما تم اتخاذه من إجراءات في هذا الشأن.

كما تناول الاجتماع مناقشة الرؤية المستقبلية لإنشاء الجامعة الأهلية، بما يسهم في تعزيز الخدمات التعليمية المقدمة لأبناء إقليم القناة وسيناء، وتوفير بيئة أكاديمية متطورة تدعم مسيرة التعليم العالي وتواكب احتياجات التنمية وسوق العمل.

وأكد رئيس جامعة السويس خلال الاجتماع أهمية الإسراع في استكمال الإجراءات الخاصة بتخصيص الأرض، بما يتيح البدء في تنفيذ المشروع وفق الجداول الزمنية المحددة، مشيدًا بالتعاون المثمر بين جامعة السويس وجهاز مدينة السويس الجديدة والجهات المعنية بالدولة.

وفي تصريح له، ثمّن أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس الجامعـــــة جهود الدولة المصرية وقيادتها السياسية في دعم منظومة التعليم العالي، من خلال توفير بنية أساسية متطورة للجامعات الحديثة على أعلى المستويات، وتقديم برامج أكاديمية نوعية تواكب المتغيرات المتسارعة ومتطلبات سوق العمل المحلي والإقليمي والدولي، بما يسهم في إعداد كوادر مؤهلة قادرة على المنافسة والمشاركة الفاعلة في تحقيق أهداف التنمية.

كما وجه رئيس الجامعة الشكر إلى جهاز مدينة السويس الجديدة برئاسة المهندسة أسماء مخلوف على التعاون والدعم المستمر لإنجاز هذا المشروع التعليمي المهم، مؤكدًا أن جامعة السويس الأهلية تمثل إضافة نوعية لمنظومة التعليم الجامعي بالمحافظة، وتسهم في إتاحة فرص تعليمية متقدمة للشباب وفق أحدث النظم التعليمية والتكنولوجية.

Suez University President Follows Up on Land Allocation Procedures for Suez National University in New Suez City and Affirms State Support for the Expansion of Modern Higher Education

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, visited the headquarters of the New Suez City Authority to follow up on the procedures for allocating the land designated for Suez National University. He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ezz El-Din Husseini Gad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed El-Desouki, Director of Programs at Suez National University.

The delegation was welcomed by Eng. Asmaa Makhlouf, Head of the New Suez City Authority, and Dr. Eng. Nader Nabih, Engineering Advisor to the Egyptian Cabinet. During the meeting, participants reviewed the latest developments regarding the land allocation process, as well as the city’s ongoing development and expansion plans, which support the implementation of the Suez National University project in line with the state’s vision of expanding modern universities and advancing the higher education system.

During the meeting, Eng. Asmaa Makhlouf outlined the comprehensive development plans being implemented by the New Suez City Authority, including urban expansion, infrastructure, and service projects aimed at promoting sustainable development throughout the city. She also reviewed the current status of the land designated for Suez National University and the procedures that have been completed to facilitate its allocation.

The meeting also addressed the future vision for establishing the university, highlighting its role in strengthening educational services for the Canal and Sinai regions and providing a modern academic environment that supports the advancement of higher education while meeting the evolving needs of national development and the labor market.

During the discussions, the President of Suez University stressed the importance of expediting the completion of the land allocation procedures to ensure that the project can commence according to the established timeline. He praised the productive cooperation between Suez University, the New Suez City Authority, and the relevant state institutions.

In a statement, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal commended the Egyptian state and its political leadership for their continued support of the higher education sector through the development of world-class infrastructure for modern universities and the introduction of high-quality academic programs that keep pace with rapid global changes and the demands of local, regional, and international labor markets.
