رئيس جامعة السويس يشارك في افتتاح مؤتمر «الهوية الوطنية.. جذور راسخة ورؤية متجددة»

شارك أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس جامعـــــة السويـــــس في افتتاح فعاليات مؤتمر «الهوية الوطنية.. جذور راسخة ورؤية متجددة» الذي تستضيفه مكتبة الإسكندرية خلال الفترة من ٢١ إلى ٢٣ سبتمبر ٢٠٢٦، تحت رعاية فخامة السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، رئيس الجمهورية، وبمشاركة عدد من الوزارات والجهات المعنية بقضايا الثقافة والتعليم وبناء الإنسان.
وشهدت الجلسة الافتتاحية للمؤتمر حضور معالي أ.د. عبد العزيز قنصوة، وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي والقائم بأعمال وزير الثقافة، نيابة عن الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي رئيس مجلس الوزراء، إلى جانب نخبة من الوزراء والمحافظين ورؤساء الجامعات والخبراء والمثقفين والإعلاميين والشباب.
ويناقش المؤتمر مجموعة من المحاور المهمة المرتبطة بالهوية الوطنية المصرية، من بينها مكونات الهوية، ودور التعليم والثقافة والإعلام والفنون والتراث في ترسيخ قيم الانتماء والولاء الوطني، فضلًا عن التحديات التي تواجه الهوية في ظل المتغيرات المعاصرة وتأثير التحول الرقمي والذكاء الاصطناعي ووسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.
كما تتضمن الفعاليات جلسات نقاشية متخصصة حول دور التعليم والابتكار في دعم الهوية الوطنية، ومساهمة مؤسسات الدولة والأسرة والمجتمع المدني في تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي وترسيخ قيم المواطنة والانتماء.
وأكد أ.د. رئيس جامعة السويس، أن المؤتمر يمثل منصة وطنية مهمة لتبادل الرؤى والأفكار حول سبل الحفاظ على الهوية المصرية وتعزيزها لدى الأجيال الجديدة، مشيرًا إلى أن الجامعات المصرية تؤدي دورًا محوريًا في بناء الوعي الوطني وصياغة شخصية الشباب القائمة على الانتماء والاعتزاز بالوطن.
وأضاف “حنيجــــــــــل” جامعة السويس تضع قضية بناء الإنسان المصري وتعزيز الهوية الوطنية في مقدمة أولوياتها، من خلال البرامج التعليمية والأنشطة الطلابية والثقافية التي تسهم في تنمية الوعي وترسيخ القيم الوطنية، بما يتماشى مع أهداف الجمهورية الجديدة ورؤية الدولة المصرية للتنمية المستدامة.

President of Suez University Participates in Opening of Conference on “National Identity: Deep-Rooted Foundations and a Renewed Vision”

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heneigal, President of Suez University, participated in the opening of the conference “National Identity: Deep-Rooted Foundations and a Renewed Vision,” hosted by the Bibliotheca Alexandrina from September 21 to 23, 2026, under the auspices of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The conference brings together a number of ministries and relevant institutions concerned with culture, education, and human development.
The opening session was attended by H.E. Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Culture, representing Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, along with a distinguished group of ministers, governors, university presidents, experts, intellectuals, media professionals, and young people.
The conference addresses a range of important themes related to Egyptian national identity, including the components of identity and the role of education, culture, media, the arts, and heritage in strengthening the values of national belonging and loyalty. It also examines the challenges facing national identity amid contemporary changes and the impact of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and social media.
The program also features specialized panel discussions on the role of education and innovation in supporting national identity, as well as the contributions of state institutions, families, and civil society to enhancing social awareness and strengthening the values of citizenship and belonging.
Prof. Dr. Heneigal, President of Suez University, emphasized that the conference represents an important national platform for exchanging views and ideas on ways to preserve and strengthen Egyptian identity among younger generations. He noted that Egyptian universities play a pivotal role in fostering national awareness and shaping young people’s character around a strong sense of belonging and pride in their homeland.
Prof. Dr. Heneigal added that Suez University places the development of the Egyptian individual and the strengthening of national identity among its top priorities, through educational programs and student and cultural activities that contribute to raising awareness and reinforcing national values, in line with the objectives of the New Republic and the Egyptian state’s vision for sustainable development.
