رئيس جامعة السويس يعلن : جامعة السويس تواصل صعودها عالميًا في تصنيف U.S. News Best Global Universities 2026

أعلن أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس جامعـــــة السويـــــس عن إنجازًا جديدًا للجامعة في مجال التصنيفات الدولية الذي يعكس التقدم المستمر في أدائها الأكاديمي والبحثي، حيث تقدمت جامعـــــة السويـــــس في تصنيف U.S. News Best Global Universities 2026 لتحتل المرتبة 927 عالميًا، مقارنة بالمرتبة 1022 عالميًا في إصدار عام 2025، محققة تقدمًا ملحوظًا قدره 95 مركزًا عالميًا.
وعلى المستوى المحلي، تقدمت الجامعة إلى المرتبة 21 بين الجامعات المصرية في تصنيف 2026، مقارنة بالمرتبة 23 في العام السابق، بما يؤكد تنامي مكانتها الأكاديمية والبحثية بين مؤسسات التعليم العالي المصرية.
كما أوضح “حنيجــــــــــل” هذا التصنيف للجامعة قد شهد تطورًا ملحوظًا في عدد من التخصصات العلمية، حيث جاءت نتائجها على النحو التالي:
• علوم المواد: تقدمت إلى المرتبة 596 عالميًا مقارنة بالمرتبة 620 في عام 2025.
• الكيمياء: احتلت الجامعة المرتبة 735 عالميًا
• الهندسة: احتلت الجامعةالمرتبة 975 عالميًا .
وأكد رئيس الجامعة أن هذا التقدم يعكس ثمار الجهود المؤسسية التي تبذلها جامعة السويس، والاهتمام المتواصل بتعزيز جودة البحث العلمي، وزيادة النشر الدولي في الدوريات المرموقة، وتوسيع نطاق التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي مع الجامعات والمراكز البحثية الدولية.
هذا وقد صرح رئيس جامعة السويس أن هذا الإنجاز يمثل خطوة جديدة في مسيرة الجامعة نحو التميز الدولي، ويعكس الجهود المتكاملة التي تبذلها جميع قطاعات الجامعة والكليات وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والباحثين، بما يسهم في تعزيز مكانة جامعة السويس بين الجامعات العالمية وتحقيق مستهدفات رؤية مصر للتعليم العالي والبحث العلمي.
وقد وجه أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس الجامعـــــة التحية الى كافة القائمين على قطاع البحث العلمي ا.د. شريف فهمي القائم بأعمال نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون الدراسات العليا والبحوث، ووحدة التصنيف الدولي بالجامعة بقيادة أ.د. عادل عامر مدير الوحدة والسادة أعضاء لوحدة جميعا، لما يقومون من جهد محمود في إدارة هذا الملف الذي يشهد تطورا ملموسًا بشكل واضح، الأمر الذي ينعكس ايجابًا على مكانة الجامعة على المستويين المحلي والدولي.

President of Suez University Announces: Suez University Continues Its Global Ascent in the U.S. News Best Global Universities 2026 Ranking

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, announced a new achievement for the university in the field of international rankings, reflecting its continued progress in academic and research performance. Suez University advanced in the U.S. News Best Global Universities 2026 ranking, securing the 927th position globally, compared to the 1022nd position in the 2025 edition, achieving a significant leap of 95 places worldwide.
On the domestic level, the university advanced to the 21st position among Egyptian universities in the 2026 ranking, compared to the 23rd position in the previous year, confirming its growing academic and research standing among Egyptian higher education institutions.
Dr. Heniegal also clarified that the university’s ranking witnessed notable development in several scientific disciplines, with results as follows:
• Materials Science: Advanced to the 596th position globally, compared to the 620th position in 2025.
• Chemistry: The university ranked 735th globally.
• Engineering: The university ranked 975th globally.
The University President affirmed that this progress reflects the fruits of the institutional efforts exerted by Suez University, the ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of scientific research, increasing international publications in prestigious journals, and expanding the scope of academic and research collaboration with international universities and research centers.
The President of Suez University also stated that this achievement represents a new step in the university’s journey toward international excellence, reflecting the integrated efforts undertaken by all university sectors, faculties, faculty members, and researchers, contributing to strengthening Suez University’s standing among global universities and achieving the objectives of Egypt’s vision for higher education and scientific research.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of the University, extended his appreciation to all those in charge of the scientific research sector—Prof. Dr. Sherif Fahmy, Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and the International Ranking Unit at the university, led by Prof. Dr. Adel Amer, Director of the Unit, and all members of the unit—for their commendable efforts in managing this file, which is clearly witnessing tangible progress, positively reflecting on the university’s standing both locally and internationally.
