أرفض الظهور فى الإعلام لعدد من الأسباب، منها:
إستضافتى مرات عديدة للغاية على شاشات القنوات وإيهامى بأننا على الهواء مباشرةً، ثم أفاجئ بأننا لم نكن على الهواء تماماً، بل ولم يتم تسجيل الحلقة من الأساس. وهذا الأمر تكرر كثيراً مع تعمد تحطيم أعصابى وإستفزازى خلال هذه اللقاءات المزيفة
أتذكر منها، تعمد إهانتى من مذيعة مشهورة للغاية بيننا، أوهمتنى أننا على الهواء مباشرةً، وقبل التسجيل الوهمى أجبرتنى على خلع الجاكت الذى كنت أرتديه فوق ملابسى وقامت بمد يدها لخلع إكسسواراتى والعقد الذى كان حول رقبتى، وهى تصرخ بى أمام المعدين الذين أعرفهم حتى هذه اللحظة واحد واحد بشكل شخصى، وتقول لى أمام الجميع بصوت عالى، بأن ملابسى وإكسسواراتى فلاحى ولا تصلح للقاء معها. وسط ذهولى وذهول جميع المتواجدين فى القناة… ورغم ذلك، فسجلت معى اللقاء وأوهمتنى أننا على الهواء مباشرةً ولم يتم كالعادة إذاعة اللقاء
ثم تطور الأمر مع رفضى الظهور بعد ذلك أو الذهاب لأى قنوات أو إستديوهات، بتدبير لقاءات لى مع برامج معروفة، وتحديد لقاءات فى نوادى مشهورة ومعروفة وعندما أصل تسلم على المذيعة والمصور والمعدين، ويقومون بالتصوير معى. ثم لا يذيعون اللقاء
ويبقى الأمر الأخطر بعد ذلك، ألا وهو مع تصميمى على عدم تسجيل أى لقاءات بشكل تام وعدم الخروج من بيتى إلى إستديوهات أو مقابلة مذيعين وإعلاميين فى أى مكان… فوجئت بتصميم غريب من طرف قنوات بإرسال معدين ومذيعين حتى باب بيتى لعقد لقاءات معى منعاً لعدم إتعابى وإجهادى بسبب تصميمى التام والنهائى على مقاطعة الإعلام بشكل نهائى وتام. وهنا أتضح الأمر المأساوى سيادتكم، بمجئ حشد إعلامى لبيتى بالكاميرات لتصوير كل جوانب بيتى، وعقد لقاءات وهمية معى حول تخصصى الأكاديمى الدقيق فى الشؤون السياسية الصينية ثم لا يتم إذاعتها من الأساس بشكل نهائى وتام
وأنا هنا أتساءل، لمصلحة من أعطى الأوامر بدخول بيتى وتصوير حياتى كاملة بداخله ثم لا يتم إذاعة أى لقاء معى من داخل بيتى؟
وسأزيدكم من فداحة وحجم الإهانات التى تعرضت وعرضونى لها سيادتكم، فمع تصميمى النهائى والتام بعد ذلك، بعدم الظهور فى أى لقاءات مزيفة ومفبركة حفاظاً على سلامتى النفسية والجسدية لعدم فهمى من يقف وراء هذه السخافات التى أتعرض لها وخوفاً من تعرضى للأذى بسبب هذه اللقاءات المزيفة. فوجئت بمعدين يقترحون على عمل لقاءات تليفونية معى على قنوات فضائية معروفة ومشهورة فوافقت لأن ذلك كان أخف الضررين، بالإكتفاء بالإتصال بى هاتفياً فقط دون أى مقابلة فعلية
ثم حدث شئ غير معهود سيادتكم، بتعمد المعد الإتصال بى عدة مرات خلال اليوم لحثى على الإستعداد للمكالمة التليفونية. وقبل اللقاء يرسل لى عدة مرات للإستعداد للمداخلة، ثم بالإتصال بى عدة مرات لحثى على الإستعداد للقاء. ثم خلال الوقت المحدد لا يتم الإتصال بى بشكل تام ونهائى
بل وبلغ إستفزازهم لى أقصى مدى، بتعمد إتصالهم بى من نفس المعد ومن نفس القناة على مدار الأسبوع يومياً لحثى على عقد لقاء جديد ومداخلة تليفونية جديدة. وقبل الموعد والوقت المحدد لا يتم الإتصال بى تماماً
وأنا لدى قائمة كبيرة للغاية بكافة الأساليب والتكتيكات التى تم إستخدامها معى والتى تفوق قدرة أى عقل بشرى على التصديق من غرابة وقائعها وأحداثها، والتى لا يتسع المجال لذكرها جميعاً بالنظر لكثرتها وتفنن وتعدد أساليبها وتكتيكاتها
لذا، قررت وبشكل صارم وتام ولا رجعة فيه بشكل تام ونهائى مقاطعة الإعلام بشكل نهائى وتام وعدم قبول أى دعوات أو إتصالات تليفونية أو لقاءات من أى مذيعين أو معدين برامج. لعدم ضمانى بمن يقف ورائها وحتى لا يتم التخلص منى وإيذائى فى حال قبولى أى لقاء تقف ورائه أى جهة خاصةً لو كانت خارجية فى حال قبولى لأى دعوات أخرى جديدة تصلنى حتى هذه اللحظة بشكل يومى متكرر
ومن هنا، قررت الحفاظ على سلامتى النفسية والجسدية وعدم إلقاء نفسى إلى التهلكة برفض قبول أى دعوات أو لقاءات أو إتصالات إعلامية، الغرض الوحيد منها هو تحطيمى والحط من شأنى وقدرى وممارسة كافة أشكال وألوان الإهانة والتنكيل بى
وشكراً لتفهمكم التام لأسباب عدم ظهورى إعلامياً ومقاطعة الإعلام بشكل تام ونهائى وكلى إقتناع وإيمان بهذا القرار الذى أعاد إلى كرامتى وإنسانيتى وسلامتى النفسية والفكرية بل والجسدية، تحسباً من مخاطر إيذائى والتعرض لى فى أى لقاءات مزيفة أو مفبركة يتم دعوتى إليها، كما أصبحتم تتفهمون سيادتكم الوضع كاملاً الآن. ولكم منى جزيل الشكر ووافر الإحترام. تحياتى

Why do I refuse to appear in the media?
– For a number of reasons, including:
1) I’ve been invited to television channels far too often, led to believe we were live, only to discover we weren’t even on air, and the episode hadn’t even been recorded. This happened repeatedly, with deliberate attempts to frustrate and provoke me during these staged interviews.
2) I remember one instance where a very well-known female presenter deliberately humiliated me. She led me to believe we were live, and before the fake recording, she forced me to remove the jacket I was wearing over my clothes. She then reached for my accessories and the necklace around my neck, all while yelling at me in front of the producers, whom I still know personally. She told me loudly, in front of everyone, that my clothes and accessories were too traditional and unsuitable for an interview with her. To my astonishment and the astonishment of everyone present at the channel… Despite this, they recorded the interview with me and led me to believe we were live on air, but as usual, the interview wasn’t broadcast.
3) Then, after I refused to appear on any other channels or studios, they arranged interviews for me with well-known programs and scheduled meetings at famous clubs. When I arrived, they would greet the presenter, cameraman, and producers, and film me. Then they wouldn’t air the interview.
4) The most serious issue came after that. Despite my firm resolve not to record any interviews and not to leave my house for studios or to meet with presenters and media figures anywhere… I was surprised by the strange determination of some channels to send producers and presenters right to my doorstep to conduct interviews with me, so as not to tire me out because of my complete and final decision to boycott the media entirely. And here, Your Excellency, the tragic situation became clear: a media horde arrived at my home with cameras to film every corner of it, conducting staged interviews with me about my specialized academic field of Chinese political affairs, only to have these interviews never broadcast at all.
I ask you, who authorized this intrusion into my home, the filming of my entire life within its walls, and then the complete absence of any interviews conducted inside my own home?
5) To further illustrate the severity and magnitude of the humiliation I have endured, Your Excellency, I have made a firm and unequivocal decision to refuse any further appearances in these fabricated and staged interviews. This is to protect my physical and mental well-being, as I cannot comprehend who is behind this absurdity and I fear for my safety. I was surprised when producers suggested phone interviews with me on well-known satellite channels, and I agreed because it seemed the lesser of two evils, just a phone call without any actual interview.
Then something unusual happened. The producer deliberately called me several times throughout the day, urging me to prepare for the phone call. Before the interview, he would send me several messages to get ready, then call me repeatedly to urge me to prepare. Then, at the scheduled time, he wouldn’t call me at all.
Their provocation reached its peak when the same producer and the same channel deliberately called me every day of the week, pressuring me to agree to another interview. Before the scheduled time, I am not contacted at all.
I have an extremely long list of all the methods and tactics used against me, so bizarre and unbelievable that it defies human comprehension. There isn’t enough space to list them all, given their sheer number and the ingenuity and variety of the methods and tactics employed.
Therefore, I have made a firm, absolute, and irrevocable decision to completely and permanently boycott the media and refuse all invitations, phone calls, and meetings from any broadcasters or program producers. Because I cannot be certain who is behind these invitations, and to avoid being targeted or harmed if I accept any meeting orchestrated by any party, especially if it is foreign, I have decided to refrain from accepting any further invitations, which I continue to receive daily.
Therefore, I have decided to protect my mental and physical well-being and avoid putting myself in harm’s way by refusing any invitations, meetings, or media contacts whose sole purpose is to destroy me, diminish my standing and dignity, and subject me to all forms of humiliation and abuse.
Thank you for your complete understanding of the reasons for my complete and final media blackout. I am fully convinced of and believe in this decision, which has restored my dignity, humanity, and mental, intellectual, and even physical well-being. This is a precaution against the risks of harm and harassment I might face in any fabricated or staged meetings to which I might be invited. I am now fully aware of the situation. 我为什么拒绝接受媒体采访？
——原因有很多，其中包括：
1）我被邀请上电视台的次数太多了，每次都让我以为是直播，结果却发现根本没有播出，节目也根本没录。这种情况反复发生，而且这些所谓的“采访”都是故意刁难我、激怒我。
2）我记得有一次，一位非常知名的女主持人故意羞辱我。她让我以为是直播，在所谓的“录制”之前，她强迫我脱掉穿在衣服外面的外套。然后，她一边当着我至今还认识的制片人的面，一边伸手去拿我的饰品和项链。她大声地对我说，我的衣服和饰品太传统，不适合接受她的采访。 令我以及电视台所有在场人员都感到震惊的是……尽管如此，他们还是录制了我的采访，并让我误以为我们正在直播，但和往常一样，采访并没有播出。
3）之后，在我拒绝出现在任何其他频道或演播室后，他们安排我接受一些知名节目的采访，并在一些著名俱乐部与我见面。我到达后，他们会迎接主持人、摄影师和制片人，并拍摄我。然后，他们不会播出这些采访。
4）最严重的问题发生在之后。尽管我坚决不录制任何采访，也不离开家去演播室或与任何主持人或媒体人士见面……但令我惊讶的是，一些频道竟然执意派制片人和主持人直接到我家门口采访我，以免我因为我彻底抵制媒体的决定而感到疲惫。 阁下，事情的真相就此浮出水面：一大群媒体记者带着摄像机涌入我家，拍摄我家每一个角落，对我进行事先安排好的采访，内容都是关于我所专攻的中国政治学领域，但这些采访最终却从未播出。
我想请问，是谁授权他们擅闯我的家，拍摄我在家里的所有生活，然后又完全取消了在我家进行的任何采访？
5）阁下，为了进一步说明我所遭受的羞辱的严重性和程度，我已做出坚决而明确的决定，拒绝再参加任何此类捏造和安排的采访。这是为了保护我的身心健康，因为我无法理解是谁在幕后操纵这一切，我担心自身安全。当制片人提出在知名卫星频道对我进行电话采访时，我感到很惊讶，但我同意了，因为这似乎是两害相权取其轻，只是打个电话而已，无需进行任何实际采访。
然而，接下来发生的事情却非同寻常。制片人故意在一天中多次给我打电话，催促我准备电话采访。在采访前，他会发几条信息让我做好准备，然后反复打电话催促我。然而，到了约定的时间，他却根本不会打来电话。
他们的挑衅达到了顶峰，同一个制片人和同一个频道每天都故意给我打电话，迫使我同意接受另一次采访。 在预定时间之前，我完全没有收到任何联系。
我掌握着一份极其详尽的清单，记录着所有针对我的手段和策略，其离奇古怪、匪夷所思，简直超乎想象。鉴于其数量之多、手法之精妙和种类之繁杂，根本无法一一列举。
因此，我已做出坚定、绝对且不可逆转的决定：彻底且永久地抵制媒体，拒绝所有来自广播公司或节目制作人的邀请、电话和会面。由于我无法确定这些邀请的幕后主使是谁，为了避免因接受任何一方（尤其是外国方面）安排的会面而成为攻击目标或受到伤害，我决定不再接受任何邀请，尽管我每天都会收到此类邀请。
因此，我决定保护我的身心健康，避免身处险境，拒绝任何旨在摧毁我、贬低我的地位和尊严、并对我进行各种羞辱和虐待的邀请、会面或媒体接触。
感谢您完全理解我彻底与媒体断绝联系的原因。我坚信并相信这一决定，它恢复了我的尊严、人性以及身心健康。这是为了防范我可能在任何捏造或安排的会面中遭受的伤害和骚扰。我现在完全了解情况。感谢您的理解和尊重。此致
