أعلن أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس جامعـــــة السويـــــس، عن فوز كلية طب الأسنان بالمركز الأول على مستوى الجمهورية في المؤتمر الدولي لطب الأسنان (IDC 2026)، الذي استضافته أكاديمية الأميرة فاطمة بالقاهرة، وذلك تحت إشراف أ.د. شذا حماد عميد الكلية.
هذا وقد صرح أ.د. رئيس الجامعة أن هذا الفوز يعكس التميز العلمي والبحثي لطلابنا، ويؤكد أن جامعة السويس تسير بخطى ثابتة نحو الريادة في مختلف المجالات الأكاديمية. مؤكدا على فخر كافة منسوبي الجامعة بهذا الإنجاز الذي يرفع اسم الجامعة عالياً، ويدعم مكانتها بين الجامعات المصرية والدولية.
ومن جانبها فقد صرحت أ.د. شذا حماد عميد الكلية أن هذا الإنجاز يعكس ثمرة الجهد المتواصل الذي يبذله الطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس، مؤكدة أن الكلية تسعى دائماً إلى ترسيخ ثقافة البحث العلمي والابتكار، وإعداد جيل قادر على المنافسة محلياً ودولياً. وأضافت “حماد” أن الفوز بالمركز الأول يعد دليلاً على أن كلية طب الأسنان بجامعة السويس أصبحت نموذجاً يحتذى به في التميز الأكاديمي والبحثي، مشيدة بروح الفريق والعمل الجماعي التي تحلى بها الطلاب المشاركون.
هذا وقد حقق طلاب الكلية إنجازاً متميزاً بحصد المركز الأول في:
– مسابقة البوستر العلمي (Digital Dentistry) بعنوان The New Era of Special Needs in Dentistry and Oral Hygiene، بمشاركة مجموعة من الطلاب المبدعين.
– مسابقة الحشو التجميلي (Composite) حيث حصل الطالب عبد الرحمن ماهر على المركز الأول.
كما شارك بفاعلية في المؤتمر كل من الطالبين: محمد حسن غازي، وخالد مصطفى عبد الهادي، الذين مثلوا الكلية بصورة مشرفة.
هذا وقد وجه رئيس الجامعة التحية للسادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس المشرفين على الطلاب وهم :
د. سارة شاهين، د. منى رزق المدرسين بقسم العلاج التحفظي بالكلية
جدير بالذكر أن لجنة التحكيم أشادت بالمستوى العلمي المتميز لطلاب كلية طب الأسنان بجامعة السويس، مؤكدة أن مشاركتهم كانت نموذجاً يحتذى به في البحث العلمي والتطبيق العملي.

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, announced that the Faculty of Dentistry has won first place nationwide at the International Dental Conference (IDC 2026), hosted by the Princess Fatma Academy in Cairo, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Shaza Hammad, Dean of the Faculty.
The University President stated that this achievement reflects the scientific and research excellence of the university’s students and confirms that Suez University is steadily advancing toward leadership in various academic fields. He emphasized the pride of all university members in this accomplishment, which elevates the university’s name and strengthens its standing among Egyptian and international universities.
For her part, Prof. Dr. Shaza Hammad, Dean of the Faculty, stated that this achievement is the result of the continuous efforts exerted by both students and faculty members. She affirmed that the faculty consistently seeks to promote a culture of scientific research and innovation, preparing a generation capable of competing both locally and internationally. She added that winning first place is clear evidence that the Faculty of Dentistry at Suez University has become a model of academic and research excellence, praising the team spirit and collaboration demonstrated by the participating students.

The Scientific Poster Competition (Digital Dentistry) with the project titled “The New Era of Special Needs in Dentistry and Oral Hygiene,” presented by a group of creative students.
The Composite Restoration Competition, where student Abdelrahman Maher won first place.
Additionally, students Mohamed Hassan Ghazi and Khaled Mostafa Abdelhady actively participated in the conference, representing the faculty with distinction.
The University President also extended his appreciation to the faculty members who supervised the students:
Dr. Sara Shaheen and Dr. Mona Rizk, lecturers in the Conservative Dentistry Department.
