افتتح أ.د. أشـــــــرف حنيجــــــل رئيـــس جامعـــة السويــــس، صباح اليوم، فعاليات الملتقى العلمي الأول لطلاب البكالوريوس والدراسات العليا بكلية الثروة السمكية، وذلك بحضور أ.د/ عزالدين حسيني جاد نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون التعليم والطلاب، وأ.د. محمد الصباغ عميد الكلية، إلى جانب أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب.
في كلمته الافتتاحية، رحّب “رئيس الجامعة” بالحضور، مؤكدًا أن كلية الثروة السمكية تمثل إضافة نوعية لمنظومة التعليم والبحث العلمي في جامعة السويس، باعتبارها من التخصصات غير النمطية التي تخدم قضايا التنمية المستدامة والأمن الغذائي.
وأوضح أن الملتقى الطلابي يأتي ليعكس حرص الجامعة على تعزيز التواصل مع أبنائها الطلاب، وإتاحة الفرصة لهم لعرض مشروعاتهم البحثية وأفكارهم المبتكرة، بما يسهم في إعداد كوادر قادرة على مواكبة التطورات العالمية في مجال الاستزراع السمكي والاقتصاد الأزرق.
وأشار سيادته إلى أن ما تشهده الدولة المصرية من إنجازات غير مسبوقة في مختلف مجالات التنمية بقيادة فخامة السيد الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي، يضع على عاتق الجامعات مسئولية إعداد أجيال قادرة على مواكبة هذه الطفرة التنموية، خاصة في مجالات الاقتصاد الأزرق والاستزراع السمكي.
كما ثمّن سيادته دعم وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي بقيادة أ.د. عبد العزيز قنصوة، الذي يولي اهتمامًا كبيرًا بتطوير البنية التحتية وتعزيز البحث العلمي في الكليات الفريدة وغير النمطية، بما يضمن استمرار دورها الريادي على المستويين الوطني والإقليمي.
وأشار “حنيجــــــل” الى أن كلية الثروة السمكية استطاعت أن تحقق مكانة متميزة على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي، حيث أصبحت مقر الاتحاد الإفريقي للاستزراع السمكي، وهو ما يعكس ثقة المؤسسات القارية في قدراتها العلمية والبحثية.
كما نوّه إلى الإنجاز الأخير المتمثل في افتتاح المعمل المركزي بالكلية بعد حصوله على اعتماد المجلس الوطني للاعتماد (EGAC)، الأمر الذي يعزز مكانة الكلية كبيت خبرة علمي وبحثي معترف به محليًا وإقليميًا ودوليًا.
وفي كلمته أعرب أ.د. محمد الصباغ عميد كلية الثروة السمكية عن سعادته بافتتاح الملتقى الطلابي العلمي الأول، مؤكدًا أن هذا اللقاء لا يجمع الحضور تحت سقف العلم فحسب، بل يوحدهم حول حلم مشترك يتمثل في بناء مستقبل أفضل للوطن بأيدي أبنائه.
كما توجه بالشكر إلى الأستاذ الدكتور أشرف حنيجل رئيس الجامعة على دعمه المستمر، ولكل من ساهم في تنظيم الملتقى، مؤكدًا أن هذا الحدث يمثل خطوة مضيئة في طريق العلم والعمل
ورحب سيادته ترحيبًا خاصًا بخريجي الكلية الذين وصفهم بأنهم خير سفراء لها ونماذج مشرفة تجسد ثمرة الجهد والعلم، مشيرًا إلى أن وجودهم اليوم يمثل مصدر إلهام للطلاب الحاليين.
وأوضح عميد الكلية أن الملتقى يأتي ترجمةً للخطة الاستراتيجية لجامعة السويس التي تهدف إلى إعداد إنسان قادر على التفكير والإبداع وربط ما يتعلمه بالواقع العملي، بما يتناغم مع مستهدفات رؤية مصر 2030 التي تضع الإنسان في قلب عملية التنمية.
وفي ختام كلمته، شدد على أن كل فكرة أو مشروع يقدمه الطلاب اليوم قد يكون نواة لحل حقيقي أو بداية لمسار مهني ناجح، داعيًا إياهم إلى الثقة بقدراتهم وعدم الخوف من التجربة.
وعقب الجلسة الافتتاحية، قام رئيس الجامعة بتفقد المعرض المصاحب للملتقى، حيث استعرض الطلاب مشروعاتهم البحثية في مجالات الاستزراع السمكي، التكنولوجيا الحيوية، والاقتصاد الأزرق. وأشاد بما قدمه الطلاب من أفكار مبتكرة ومشروعات تطبيقية، مؤكدًا أن هذه الجهود تعكس وعي الشباب بدورهم في خدمة المجتمع ودعم التنمية المستدامة.

President of Suez University Inaugurates the First Scientific Forum for Students of the Faculty of Fish Resources

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, inaugurated this morning the activities of the First Scientific Forum for undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Faculty of Fish Resources. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Ezz El-Din Hosny Gad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Sabbagh, Dean of the Faculty, in addition to faculty members and students.
In his opening speech, the University President welcomed the attendees, emphasizing that the Faculty of Fish Resources represents a qualitative addition to the system of education and scientific research at Suez University, as it is one of the non-traditional specializations that serve issues of sustainable development and food security.
He explained that the student forum reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening communication with its students and providing them with opportunities to present their research projects and innovative ideas, thereby contributing to the preparation of cadres capable of keeping pace with global developments in aquaculture and the blue economy.
He further noted that the unprecedented achievements witnessed by the Egyptian state in various fields of development under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi place a responsibility on universities to prepare generations capable of keeping pace with this developmental leap, particularly in the fields of the blue economy and aquaculture.
He also praised the support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, led by Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, which pays great attention to developing infrastructure and enhancing scientific research in unique and non-traditional faculties, ensuring the continuation of their leading role at both the national and regional levels.
Prof. Heniegal pointed out that the Faculty of Fish Resources has succeeded in achieving a distinguished position regionally and internationally, as it has become the headquarters of the African Aquaculture Union, reflecting the confidence of continental institutions in its scientific and research capabilities.
He also referred to the recent achievement represented in the inauguration of the faculty’s central laboratory after obtaining accreditation from the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC), which enhances the faculty’s position as a recognized center of scientific and research expertise at the local, regional, and international levels.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Sabbagh, Dean of the Faculty of Fish Resources, expressed his happiness at the inauguration of the first scientific student forum, affirming that this gathering not only brings participants together under the umbrella of science, but also unites them around a shared dream of building a better future for the nation through the efforts of its sons.
He extended his gratitude to Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of the University, for his continuous support, as well as to all those who contributed to organizing the forum, stressing that this event represents a bright step on the path of knowledge and work.
He also extended a special welcome to the faculty’s graduates, describing them as its best ambassadors and honorable models that embody the fruits of effort and knowledge, noting that their presence today serves as a source of inspiration for current students.
The Dean explained that the forum is a translation of Suez University’s strategic plan, which aims to prepare individuals capable of critical thinking and creativity, and of linking what they learn to practical reality, in alignment with the objectives of Egypt Vision 2030, which places the human being at the center of the development process.
In conclusion, he emphasized that every idea or project presented by students today may become the nucleus of a real solution or the beginning of a successful professional path, urging them to trust their abilities and not to fear experimentation.
Following the opening session, the University President inspected the exhibition accompanying the forum, where students presented their research projects in the fields of aquaculture, biotechnology, and the blue economy. He praised the innovative ideas and applied projects presented, affirming that these efforts reflect the awareness of youth of their role in serving society and supporting sustainable development.
