أعلن الأستاذ الدكتور أشرف حنيجل رئيس جامعة السويس، حصول جميع المجلات العلمية المحكمة الصادرة عن كليات الجامعة على التقييم الأعلى (7 نقاط بالعلامة الكاملة) وفقًا للتقرير السنوي الدوري الصادر عن المجلس الأعلى للجامعات، في إنجاز جديد يعكس المكانة العلمية المتقدمة التي وصلت إليها الجامعة وجهودها المستمرة في دعم منظومة البحث العلمي والنشر الأكاديمي.
وأشار “حنيجل” إلى أن حصول جميع المجلات العلمية المحكمة بالجامعة على أعلى تقييم يعكس الالتزام الكامل بتطبيق المعايير الأكاديمية الدولية في التحكيم والنشر العلمي، ويؤكد نجاح الجامعة في بناء منظومة متطورة للدوريات العلمية تتسم بالجودة والانتظام والانتشار.
وثمّن رئيس الجامعة الجهود الكبيرة التي يبذلها قطاع الدراسات العليا والبحوث بقيادة أ.د. شريف فهمي القائم بأعمال نائب رئيس الجامعة لشؤون الدراسات العليا والبحوث، مؤكدًا أن القطاع لعب دورًا محوريًا في تطوير المجلات العلمية الصادرة عن كليات الجامعة، ودعم عمليات التحديث المستمر للسياسات التحريرية، وتطبيق معايير الجودة، والعمل على زيادة انتشار المجلات وإدراجها في قواعد البيانات والتصنيفات العلمية المتخصصة.
وأوضح رئيس الجامعة أن جامعة السويس شهدت خلال عام 2026 تطورًا ملحوظًا في ملف الدوريات العلمية، حيث ارتفع عدد المجلات العلمية الصادرة عن الجامعة إلى 11 مجلة علمية مقارنة بـ 9 مجلة في العام السابق، كما تتواجد جميع المجلات العلمية بالجامعة ضمن تصنيف بنك المعرفة المصري بالتقييم الأعلى وقدره 7 نقاط.
وأضاف “رئيس الجامعة” أن الجامعة حققت تقدمًا كذلك في مجال التصنيف الدولي للدوريات العلمية، حيث نجحت مجـلتان من مجلات الجامعة في الدخول إلى دليل الدوريات مفتوحة الوصول DOAJ، كما أُدرجت مجـلتان أخريان ضمن تصنيف Arcif العربي خلال عام 2025، الأمر الذي يعزز من الحضور الدولي والإقليمي للإنتاج العلمي الصادر عن الجامعة.
وتصدر جامعة السويس حاليًا مجموعة متنوعة من المجلات العلمية المحكمة تغطي مختلف المجالات الأكاديمية، وتشمل:
– كلية هندسة البترول والتعدين: Journal of Petroleum and Mining Engineering (JP&M Engineering).
– كلية العلوم:Frontiers in Scientific Research & Technology (FSRT).
– كلية الثروة السمكية: Journal of Aquatic Science and Fish Resources (ASFR).
– كلية التكنولوجيا والتعليم: Industrial Technology Journal (ITJ).
– كلية الآداب: مجلة كلية الآداب جامعة السويس.
– كلية التجارة: مجلة البحوث الإدارية والمالية والكمية.

واختتم أ.د. أشرف حنيجل تصريحه مؤكدًا أن هذا الإنجاز يمثل خطوة مهمة في مسيرة جامعة السويس نحو ترسيخ مكانتها كمؤسسة أكاديمية وبحثية رائدة، مشيرًا إلى أن حصول المجلات العلمية على أعلى تقييم ينعكس بصورة مباشرة على جودة البحوث المنشورة، ويعزز من فرص الباحثين في النشر العلمي الموثوق، كما يسهم في دعم التصنيفات الأكاديمية للجامعة وزيادة تأثيرها البحثي على المستويين المحلي والدولي.

Suez University President Announces: All University Peer-Reviewed Scientific Journals Receive the Highest Rating from the Supreme Council of Universities

Professor Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, announced that all peer-reviewed scientific journals published by the University’s faculties have received the highest evaluation score (7 out of 7 points) according to the annual periodic report issued by the Supreme Council of Universities. This new achievement reflects the University’s distinguished academic standing and its continuous efforts to strengthen the research ecosystem and promote high-quality scholarly publishing.
Prof. Heniegal stated that the outstanding evaluation attained by all of the University’s peer-reviewed journals demonstrates Suez University’s full commitment to applying international academic standards in peer review and scientific publishing. It also confirms the University’s success in developing a high-quality, well-managed, and widely recognized system of academic journals.
The University President commended the significant efforts of the Sector of Graduate Studies and Research, headed by Professor Sherif Fahmy, Acting Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research. He emphasized that the sector has played a pivotal role in advancing the University’s scientific journals by continuously updating editorial policies, implementing quality assurance standards, expanding journal visibility, and supporting their inclusion in specialized academic databases and indexing systems.
Prof. Heniegal further noted that Suez University witnessed remarkable progress in its scientific publishing portfolio during 2026, with the number of University journals increasing from 11 to 12 compared to the previous year. Moreover, all University journals are currently classified by the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB) with the highest possible rating of 7 points.
He added that the University has also made significant strides in the international indexing of its journals. Two University journals have been successfully indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), while two additional journals were included in the Arab Impact Factor and Citation Index (Arcif) during 2025, further strengthening the regional and international visibility of the University’s scholarly output.
