رئيس جامعة السويس يستقبل وزير الخارجية الأسبق على هامش مناقشة رسالة دكتوراه بكلية السياسة والاقتصاد

استقبل أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس جامعـــــة السويـــــس، معالي السفير محمد عبد الحي العرابي وزير الخارجية الأسبق، بحضور أ.د. جمال سلامة العميد المؤسس لكلية السياسة والاقتصاد، أ.د. نيبال عز الدين عميد الكلية، وذلك على هامش مناقشة رسالة الدكتوراه المقدمة بكلية السياسة والاقتصاد بجامعة السويس.
ورحب أ.د. رئيس الجامعة بالسفير محمد عبد الحي العرابي، معربًا عن سعادته بزيارة سيادته لجامعة السويس ومشاركته في فعاليات المناقشة العلمية، ومؤكدًا أن حضور إحدى القامات الدبلوماسية المصرية البارزة يمثل إضافة مهمة للجامعة ولطلابها وباحثيها. كما أشاد رئيس الجامعة بالدور الوطني الذي تضطلع به وزارة الخارجية المصرية في حماية المصالح المصرية وتعزيز مكانة الدولة على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي، مثمنًا ما قدمه السفير العرابي من إسهامات وخبرات دبلوماسية متميزة خلال مسيرته المهنية الحافلة في خدمة الوطن.
هذا وقد شهدت كلية السياسة والاقتصاد، مناقشة رسالة الدكتوراه في العلوم السياسية المقدمة من الباحث محمد السيد عبد الله أبو شادي، وتكونت لجنة المناقشة والحكم من أ.د. عبد العال عبد الرحمن الديربي، أستاذ ورئيس قسم العلوم السياسية بكلية السياسة والاقتصاد بجامعة السويس، مشرفًا ورئيسًا، والسفير محمد عبد الحي العرابي وزير خارجية مصر الأسبق عضوًا، أ.م.د. محمود صافي محمود، أستاذ العلوم السياسية المساعد ووكيل الكلية لشؤون التعليم والطلاب عضوًا، فيما ضمت لجنة الإشراف على الرسالة الأستاذ الدكتور عبد العال الديربي والدكتور محمد شاكر.

President of Suez University Receives Former Foreign Minister on the Occasion of a PhD Dissertation Defense at the Faculty of Politics and Economics

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, received H.E. Ambassador Mohamed Abdel Hay El-Orabi, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Gamal Salama, Founding Dean of the Faculty of Politics and Economics, and Prof. Dr. Nibal Ezz El-Din, Dean of the Faculty. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the defense of a doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Politics and Economics, Suez University.
The University President welcomed Ambassador Mohamed Abdel Hay El-Orabi, expressing his pleasure at his visit to Suez University and his participation in the academic defense. He emphasized that the presence of one of Egypt’s prominent diplomatic figures represents a valuable addition to the University and its students and researchers. The President also commended the patriotic role played by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in safeguarding Egypt’s interests and strengthening the country’s position at both the regional and international levels. He further praised Ambassador El-Orabi’s distinguished diplomatic contributions and extensive experience throughout his accomplished career in service to the nation.
The Faculty of Politics and Economics also witnessed the defense of a PhD dissertation in Political Science submitted by researcher Mohamed El-Sayed Abdullah Abu Shady. The Dissertation Defense and Examination Committee comprised Prof. Dr. Abdel Aal Abdel Rahman El-Deirby, Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Politics and Economics, Suez University, as Supervisor and Chair; Ambassador Mohamed Abdel Hay El-Orabi, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, as a Committee Member; and Associate Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Safy Mahmoud, Associate Professor of Political Science and Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, as a Committee Member.
The dissertation’s Supervisory Committee comprised Prof. Dr. Abdel Aal El-Deirby and Dr. Mohamed Shaker.
