استقبل أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس جامعـــــة السويـــــس معالي الوزير اللواء أ.ح/ هاني رشاد علي محافظ السويس، وذلك بمقر المستشفى الجامعي، في جولة تفقدية هدفت إلى الوقوف على مدى جاهزية المستشفى للافتتاح المرتقب خلال شهر يوليو القادم لتقديم خدمة صحية متكاملة لأبناء المحافظة.
حضر الجولة كل من أ.د/ عز الدين حسيني جاد نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون التعليم والطلاب، د. محمد علام نائب المحافظ، أ.د. أسامة قدور القائم بأعمال نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون خدمة المجتمع وتنمية البيئة، أ.د/ دعاء محمد سيد عميد كلية الطب، د. محمد وجيه مدير المستشفى الجامعي إلى جانب السادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالكلية، حيث تفقدوا معًا مختلف الأقسام والعيادات الطبية.
شملت الجولة زيارة عيادة الأمراض الصدرية التي تضم جهاز مقياس التنفس، وعيادة الباطنة باعتبارها الأعلى ترددًا بين المرضى، بالإضافة إلى عيادة القلب والايكو، وعيادة الرمد، وعيادة النساء والتوليد التي تضم وحدة طب الجنين وجهاز الكشف عن تشوهات الأجنة. كما تفقد المحافظ عيادة العصبية والنفسية وعيادة الإدمان، وعيادة الأشعة التلفزيونية، فضلًا عن غرفة الأشعة السينية، حيث اطلع على مستوى التجهيزات الحديثة.
وخلال الجولة، تم التأكيد على أن المستشفى سيشهد قريبًا افتتاح عيادة السكر كخدمة جديدة ضمن خدمات قسم الباطنة، لتلبية احتياجات المرضى بشكل أكثر تخصصًا.
وأعرب السيد المحافظ عن إعجابه بالمستوى الذي وصلت إليه المستشفى من حيث البنية التحتية والتجهيزات الطبية، مؤكدًا حرصه على توفير كافة أوجه الدعم لضمان سرعة دخول المستشفى منظومة العمل الطبي بالمحافظة. كما شدد على ضرورة الإسراع في استكمال الاستعدادات لتكون المستشفى إضافة قوية للمنظومة الصحية.
من جانبه، أكد أ.د. أشرف حنيجل رئيس الجامعة أن المستشفى الجامعي يمثل هدية جامعة السويس لأبناء المحافظة بمناسبة ذكرى ثورة ٣٠ يونيو، مشيرًا إلى أن المرحلة الأولى من المشروع تضم:
– ١١٠ سرير مجهزة على أعلى مستوى.
– ٢٢ وحدة غسيل كلوي لخدمة مرضى الكلى.
– ١٣ سرير عناية وسيطة لتقديم الرعاية الفائقة.
– ١٨ حضانة أطفال مجهزة بأحدث الأجهزة.
– ١٧ عيادة متنوعة التخصصات.
– ٥ غرف عمليات متكاملة.
– وحدة مناظير الجهاز الهضمي لتقديم خدمات متقدمة.
وأوضح “أ.د.رئيس الجامعة” أن هذه الأرقام تعكس حجم الجهد المبذول لتوفير خدمة صحية متكاملة، وأن المستشفى سيشكل نقلة نوعية في مستوى الرعاية الطبية المقدمة لأهالي السويس، بما يتماشى مع رؤية الدولة في تطوير البنية التحتية الصحية.

Suez Governor Inspects the University Hospital and Praises Its Readiness for Opening
Governor: The hospital will be a strong addition to the healthcare system in Suez.

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, welcomed His Excellency Major General Hani Rashad Ali, Governor of Suez, at the University Hospital during an inspection tour aimed at assessing the hospital’s readiness for its anticipated opening in July, when it will begin providing comprehensive healthcare services to the residents of the governorate.
The tour was attended by Prof. Dr. Ezz El-Din Husseini Gad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Mohamed Allam, Deputy Governor of Suez; Prof. Dr. Osama Qaddour, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Doaa Sayed Mohamed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Mohamed Wagih, Director of the University Hospital; in addition to faculty members from the Faculty of Medicine. Together, they inspected various departments and outpatient clinics.
The tour included the Chest Diseases Clinic, equipped with a spirometry device; the Internal Medicine Clinic, which receives the highest number of patients; the Cardiology and Echocardiography Clinic; the Ophthalmology Clinic; and the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, which includes a Fetal Medicine Unit and advanced equipment for detecting fetal abnormalities. The Governor also visited the Neurology and Psychiatry Clinic, the Addiction Treatment Clinic, the Ultrasound Unit, and the X-ray Department, where he reviewed the hospital’s modern medical equipment and facilities.
During the visit, it was announced that a Diabetes Clinic will soon be inaugurated as a new specialized service within the Internal Medicine Department to better meet patients’ needs.
The Governor expressed his admiration for the hospital’s advanced infrastructure and medical equipment, emphasizing his commitment to providing all necessary support to ensure its swift integration into the governorate’s healthcare system. He also stressed the importance of completing the remaining preparations so that the hospital can become a significant addition to healthcare services in Suez.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, stated that the University Hospital represents the University’s gift to the people of Suez on the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution. He noted that the first phase of the project includes:
* 110 fully equipped hospital beds.
* 22 dialysis units serving kidney patients.
* 13 intermediate care beds providing advanced medical care.
* 18 neonatal incubators equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
* 17 specialized outpatient clinics.
* 5 fully integrated operating rooms.
* A Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Unit offering advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services.
Prof. Dr. Heniegal explained that these figures reflect the tremendous efforts invested in providing comprehensive healthcare services and emphasized that the hospital will mark a major advancement in the quality of medical care available to the people of Suez, in line with the state’s vision for developing healthcare infrastructure.
