افتتح صباح اليوم أ.د.أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيس جامعة السويس فعاليات الملتقى الطلابي السنوي لكلية التكنولوجيا والتعليم، بحضور أ.د. عزالدين حسيني جاد نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون التعليم والطلاب، عمداء الكليات، أعضاء هيئة التدريس، والطلاب.
وأعرب أ.د.رئيس الجامعة عن سعادته البالغة بتواجده في هذا الصرح العريق الذي كان محطة البداية لمسيرته الأكاديمية حين عمل عضوًا في هيئة التدريس بالكلية، قبل أن يُكلف بمهمة تأسيس كلية الهندسة وتولي عمادتها. مؤكدا على أن هذه العودة تمثل لحظة فخر واعتزاز، مشيرًا إلى أن الإنجازات التي تحققت هي ثمرة جهد جماعي وإرادة صادقة لخدمة الطلاب والوطن.
كما شدد “حنيجــــــــــل” على اهتمام الدولة المصرية بالتعليم التكنولوجي باعتباره ركيزة أساسية للتنمية المستدامة، مشيرًا إلى توجيهات القيادة السياسية وعلى رأسها فخامة السيد الرئيس / عبد الفتاح السيسي رئيس الجمهورية، وحرص معالي أ.د. عبدالعزيز قنصوة وزير التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي على ترجمة هذه التوجيهات إلى برامج عملية تدعم الجامعات التكنولوجية وتفتح آفاقًا جديدة أمام الطلاب.
من جانبه، أكد أ.د. حسام الدين مصطفى عميد كلية التكنولوجيا والتعليم أن الكلية حققت إنجازات معتبرة بفضل دعم معالي أ.د. رئيس الجامعة حيث حصلت برامجها الأكاديمية على اعتماد هيئة الجودة والاعتماد، وتسعى حاليًا للحصول على الاعتماد المؤسسي بما يعكس حرصها على التطوير المستمر وتعزيز مكانتها محليًا ودوليًا. وأوضح أن هذه النجاحات تأتي بفضل تكاتف أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب، مشددًا على أن الكلية ستواصل مسيرتها نحو التميز والريادة.
وقد وجه أ.د.رئيس الجامعة رسالة مباشرة إلى الطلاب، مؤكدًا أنهم القلب النابض للجامعة والأمل الذي تُبنى عليه الطموحات. وحثهم على التحلي بروح المبادرة والانتماء للوطن، واستثمار الفرص التي توفرها الدولة والجامعة ليكونوا جيلًا قادرًا على قيادة مسيرة التطوير والتحول الرقمي.
وعقب الجلسة الافتتاحية، قام رئيس الجامعة بجولة تفقدية لمشروعات الطلاب داخل الكلية، حيث استمع إلى شروحهم حول ابتكاراتهم وأفكارهم، وأشاد بما شاهده من نماذج عملية تعكس قدراتهم الإبداعية واستعدادهم للمنافسة في سوق العمل.

University President Opens Student Forum at the Faculty of Technology and Education, Affirming: Students Are the Heart of Development and Innovation

This morning, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, inaugurated the activities of the annual student forum at the Faculty of Technology and Education. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Ezz El-Din Husseini Gad, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, along with deans of faculties, faculty members, and students.
The University President expressed his great pleasure at being present in this long-established institution, which marked the starting point of his academic career when he served as a faculty member there, before being assigned the task of founding the Faculty of Engineering and serving as its dean. He emphasized that this return represents a moment of pride and honor, noting that the achievements accomplished are the result of collective effort and a sincere will to serve students and the nation.
Prof. Dr. Heniegal also stressed the Egyptian state’s interest in technological education as a fundamental pillar of sustainable development. He referred to the directives of the political leadership, headed by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as well as the commitment of Prof. Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to translate these directives into practical programs that support technological universities and open new horizons for students.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa, Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Education, affirmed that the faculty has achieved significant accomplishments thanks to the support of the University President. Its academic programs have obtained accreditation from the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority, and the faculty is currently seeking institutional accreditation, reflecting its commitment to continuous development and strengthening its position both locally and internationally. He explained that these successes are the result of the combined efforts of faculty members and students, stressing that the faculty will continue its journey toward excellence and leadership.
The University President also addressed a direct message to students, affirming that they are the beating heart of the university and the hope upon which aspirations are built. He urged them to embrace a spirit of initiative and national belonging, and to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the state and the university to become a generation capable of leading development and digital transformation.
Following the opening session, the University President conducted an inspection tour of students’ projects within the faculty, where he listened to their presentations on their innovations and ideas. He praised the practical models he observed, which reflect their creative abilities and readiness to compete in the labor market.
