للمرة الثانية على التوالي والثامنة في تاريخه.. فوز النشاط الطلابي SPE بجائزة Presidential Outstanding Student Chapter لعام 2026 كأفضل فرع طلابي أول على مستوى العالم

أعلن أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيس جامعة السويس، عن إنجاز غير مسبوق يضاف إلى سجل إنجازات الجامعة الحافل، حيث حصد طلاب النشاط الطلابي SPE بكلية هندسة البترول والتعدين جائزة الرئاسة لأفضل فرع طلابي متميز على مستوى العالم لعام 2026 (Presidential Outstanding Student Chapter) للمرة الثانية على التوالي والثامنة في تاريخ الفرع، وذلك في فئة النشر التقني والتطوير المهني (Technical Dissemination and Professional Development)، متصدرين بذلك كافة الفروع الطلابية دوليًا (كما يظهر في الشهادة الرسمية المرفقة في image.png).

وأكد “رئيس الجامعة” أن هذا التتويج العالمي المتكرر ليس مجرد فوز عابر، بل هو جائزة جماعية بامتياز تعكس روح الفريق الكامل والمتكامل، مشيدًا بالمجهودات الاستثنائية الجبارة والعطاء المستمر الذي بذله الطلاب طوال العام دون كلل أو ملل، وهي الجهود المخلصة التي رسخت مكانة جامعة السويس على قمة الخارطة الدولية لقطاع الطاقة والتطوير المهني.

وفي ذات السياق، أعرب أ.د. عصام أحمد علي – عميد كلية هندسة البترول والتعدين – عن سعادته البالغة بهذا الفوز الكبير، مؤكدًا أن الحفاظ على الصدارة العالمية للمرة الثانية على التوالي وحصد اللقب للمرة الثامنة يبرهن على أن التميز أصبح ثقافة راسخة ونتاج عمل مؤسسي منظّم، وليس مجرد صدفة، مشيرًا إلى أن البيئة التعليمية بالكلية تحفز على هذا التلاحم والعمل الجماعي كجزء أصيل من بناء شخصية المهندس الناجح القادر على غزو الساحة الدولية.

ومن جانبها، أعربت إدارة الجمعية متمثلة في الطالب/ معاذ خميس العراقي – رئيس الجمعية، والطالب/ محمد ماهر محمد – نائب رئيس الجمعية، عن فخرهما الشديد بهذا التتويج العالمي (والذي احتفل به أعضاء الفريق ككتلة واحدة كما في image_2.png)، مؤكدين أن هذه الجائزة هي ثمرة مجهودات مضنية وتخطيط استراتيجي دقيق شارك فيه كل عضو ومتطوع على مدار عام كامل؛ حيث تحولت الجمعية إلى خلية نحل واصلت الليل بالنهار، وتنقلت بين تنظيم المؤتمرات التقنية، والورش التدريبية، والأنشطة التنموية بجهد متكامل، ليكون هذا الدرع العالمي إنصافًا لرحلة كفاح جماعية استمرت 365 يومًا لرفع راية جامعة السويس ومصر عاليًا.

For the Second Consecutive Time and the Eighth Time in Its History, the SPE Student Activity Wins the 2026 Presidential Outstanding Student Chapter Award as the No. 1 Student Chapter Worldwide

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, announced an unprecedented achievement that adds to the university’s distinguished record of accomplishments. Students of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Student Chapter at the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering have won the 2026 Presidential Outstanding Student Chapter Award for the second consecutive year and the eighth time in the chapter’s history. The award was granted in the category of Technical Dissemination and Professional Development, placing the chapter at the top of all student chapters worldwide, as indicated in the official certificate attached in image.png.

The University President emphasized that this repeated global recognition is far more than a routine victory; it is a collective achievement that reflects the spirit of a cohesive and integrated team. He praised the students’ exceptional efforts, dedication, and continuous contributions throughout the year, noting that their sincere commitment has reinforced Suez University’s position at the forefront of the international energy and professional development landscape.

In the same context, Prof. Dr. Essam Ahmed Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, expressed his great pride in this remarkable accomplishment. He stated that maintaining global leadership for the second consecutive year and securing the title for the eighth time demonstrates that excellence has become a deeply rooted culture and the outcome of systematic institutional work rather than mere coincidence. He added that the faculty’s educational environment fosters collaboration and teamwork as essential components in shaping successful engineers capable of competing on the international stage.

For their part, the chapter leadership, represented by Moaz Khamis Al-Iraqi, Chapter President, and Mohamed Maher Mohamed, Vice President, expressed immense pride in this global achievement, which was celebrated collectively by all team members, as shown in image_2.png. They emphasized that the award is the result of intensive efforts and meticulous strategic planning involving every member and volunteer throughout an entire year. The chapter operated like a beehive, working tirelessly day and night while organizing technical conferences, training workshops, and developmental activities through a unified team effort. This global award, they noted, stands as a well-deserved recognition of a 365-day journey dedicated to raising the name of Suez University and Egypt on the world stage.
