في إطار ظهور نتائج مختلف التصنيفات الدولية للجامعات، أعلن أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس جامعـــــة السويـــــس عن استمرار الجامعة في الحفاظ على مكانتها المرموقة ضمن أفضل جامعات العالم، وذلك وفق نتائج تصنيف CWUR 2026 العالمي، حيث جاءت الجامعة في المرتبة 1890 عالميًا ضمن قائمة Global 2000 التي تضم أفضل 2000 جامعة على مستوى العالم، متقدمة مركزًا واحدًا مقارنة بإصدار عام 2025.
وعلى المستوى المحلي، حافظت جامعة السويس على المرتبة 19 بين الجامعات المصرية للعام الثاني على التوالي، وهو ما يعكس استقرار أدائها الأكاديمي والبحثي وقدرتها على المنافسة بين مؤسسات التعليم العالي المصرية.
ويُعد تصنيف CWUR من أبرز التصنيفات الدولية التي تعتمد على مؤشرات موضوعية تشمل: جودة التعليم، قابلية توظيف الخريجين، جودة أعضاء هيئة التدريس، والأداء البحثي، دون الاعتماد على الاستبيانات أو البيانات المقدمة من الجامعات نفسها. وقد شملت نسخة 2026 تقييم 21,291 مؤسسة تعليم عالٍ حول العالم، بينما تمكنت نخبة الجامعات فقط من دخول قائمة Global 2000.
وأكد رئيس الجامعة أن هذا الإنجاز يعكس نجاح الجهود المؤسسية في تعزيز جودة التعليم والبحث العلمي، والحفاظ على مكانة جامعة السويس بين الجامعات المصرية والعالمية، بما يتماشى مع رؤيتها الاستراتيجية نحو التميز الأكاديمي والبحثي وتعزيز تنافسيتها في التصنيفات الدولية.
وفي هذا السياق، وجّه أ.د. رئيس الجامعة التحية والتقدير إلى قطاع الدراسات العليا والبحوث، وإلى أ.د. شريف فهمي القائم بأعمال نائب رئيس الجامعة لشئون الدراسات العليا والبحوث، وكذلك إلى وحدة التصنيف الدولي بقيادة أ.د. عادل عامر مدير الوحدة، مشيدًا بجهودهم المخلصة التي أسهمت في تحقيق هذا الاستقرار والتميز في التصنيفات العالمية.

President of Suez University Announces the University’s Continued Success in International Rankings

As the results of various international university rankings continue to be released, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University, announced that the university has maintained its distinguished position among the world’s leading universities, according to the 2026 CWUR World University Rankings. Suez University ranked 1,890th globally in the Global 2000 list, which includes the top 2,000 universities worldwide, advancing by one position compared to the 2025 edition.
At the national level, Suez University retained its 19th place among Egyptian universities for the second consecutive year, reflecting the stability of its academic and research performance and its ability to compete effectively among Egypt’s higher education institutions.
The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) is considered one of the most prominent international ranking systems, relying on objective indicators that include the quality of education, graduate employability, faculty quality, and research performance, without depending on surveys or data submitted directly by universities. The 2026 edition evaluated 21,291 higher education institutions worldwide, with only an elite group of universities earning a place in the Global 2000 list.
The President of the University emphasized that this achievement reflects the success of the institution’s efforts to enhance the quality of education and scientific research, while maintaining Suez University’s standing among Egyptian and international universities in line with its strategic vision for academic and research excellence and greater competitiveness in global rankings.
In this context, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heniegal extended his appreciation and gratitude to the Graduate Studies and Research Sector, to Prof. Dr. Sherif Fahmy, Acting Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research and to the International Ranking Unit led by Prof. Dr. Adel Amer, Director of the Unit. He praised their dedicated efforts, which have contributed significantly to the university’s continued stability and distinction in international rankings.
