برئاسة رئيس الجامعة.. مجلس إدارة مستشفى جامعة السويس الجامعي يستعرض نتائج زيارة هيئة الاعتماد والرقابة الصحية وإنجازات التشغيل خلال يوليو وأغسطس

عقد أ.د. أشــــــــــرف حنيجــــــــــل رئيـــــس جامعـــــة السويـــــس، اجتماع مجلس إدارة مستشفى جامعة السويس الجامعي، بحضور الدكتور محمد علام نائب محافظ السويس، و ا.د. دعاء محمد سيد عميد كلية الطب، أ.د. آسر عبد الحي المدير التنفيذي للمستشفى، والسادة أعضاء مجلس الإدارة.
واستهل المجلس أعماله باستعراض نتائج زيارة لجنة الدعم الفني التابعة للهيئة العامة للاعتماد والرقابة الصحية GAHAR، والتي زارت مستشفى جامعة السويس الجامعي في إطار متابعة جاهزية المستشفى للحصول على الاعتماد وتقييم مدى تطبيق معايير الجودة وسلامة المرضى.
وخلال الاجتماع، تم عرض ملخص شامل لنتائج الزيارة، وما تضمنته من ملاحظات وتوصيات فنية داعمة تهدف إلى تعزيز منظومة الجودة ورفع كفاءة الخدمات الصحية، إلى جانب استعراض الخطوات المطلوبة خلال المرحلة المقبلة لاستيفاء متطلبات الاعتماد وفق المعايير المعتمدة.
وأكد أ.د. رئيس الجامعة على أهمية الالتزام الكامل بتنفيذ التوصيات الصادرة عن لجنة الدعم الفني، بما يسهم في تسريع خطوات المستشفى نحو الحصول على الاعتماد، مشددًا على ضرورة الالتزام بجداول التشغيل المعتمدة، ومواصلة العمل الجاد لاستكمال جميع متطلبات الجودة والاعتماد.
كما وجه رئيس الجامعة بأهمية إطلاق خطة دعائية وإعلامية منظمة للتعريف بمستشفى جامعة السويس الجامعي والخدمات الطبية المتخصصة التي تقدمها، بما يسهم في تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي بإمكانات المستشفى ودورها في خدمة أبناء محافظة السويس وإقليم القناة.
وشهد الاجتماع تقديم عرض، استعرض خلاله أبرز الأنشطة والإنجازات التي شهدتها المستشفى خلال شهري يوليو وأغسطس، والتي تضمنت التوسع في الخدمات الطبية والتشغيل الفعلي لعدد من الوحدات والأقسام الحيوية، من بينها وحدة الحضانات، ووحدة الغسيل الكلوي، والقسم الداخلي، وجهاز الأشعة المقطعية، بما يعكس التطور المتسارع في منظومة العمل داخل المستشفى وقدرتها على تقديم خدمات صحية متكاملة للمواطنين.
وفي ختام الاجتماع، أشاد مجلس الإدارة بالجهود المبذولة من جميع الفرق الطبية والإدارية والفنية بالمستشفى، مؤكدًا استمرار العمل وفق خطة تطوير شاملة تستهدف رفع مستوى الخدمات الصحية المقدمة، وتحقيق معايير الجودة والتميز المؤسسي، بما يتوافق مع توجهات الدولة ورؤية الجمهورية الجديدة في تطوير القطاع الصحي.

University President Chairs Meeting of Suez University Teaching Hospital Board of Directors to Review GAHAR Visit Results and July–August Operational Achievements

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heneigal, President of Suez University, chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of Suez University Teaching Hospital, attended by Dr. Mohamed Allam, Deputy Governor of Suez; Prof. Dr. Doaa Mohamed Sayed, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Prof. Dr. Asser Abdel-Hay, Executive Director of the Hospital; and members of the Board of Directors.
The meeting opened with a review of the findings of the technical support committee of the General Authority for Healthcare Accreditation and Regulation (GAHAR), which had visited Suez University Teaching Hospital as part of its follow-up on the hospital’s readiness for accreditation and its assessment of the implementation of quality and patient-safety standards.
During the meeting, a comprehensive summary of the visit’s findings was presented, including technical observations and supportive recommendations aimed at strengthening the quality-management system and enhancing the efficiency of healthcare services. The Board also reviewed the steps required during the next phase to fulfill the accreditation requirements in accordance with the approved standards.
The University President emphasized the importance of fully implementing the recommendations issued by the technical support committee, which would help accelerate the hospital’s progress toward accreditation. He also stressed the need to adhere to the approved operational schedules and to continue concerted efforts to complete all quality and accreditation requirements.
The University President further directed the launch of a coordinated publicity and media campaign to introduce Suez University Teaching Hospital and highlight the specialized medical services it provides. This initiative aims to increase public awareness of the hospital’s capabilities and its role in serving the people of Suez Governorate and the Canal Region.
The meeting also featured a presentation highlighting the major activities and achievements of the hospital during July and August. These included the expansion of medical services and the actual operation of several vital units and departments, including the Neonatal Incubators Unit, Hemodialysis Unit, Inpatient Department, and CT Scanner. These developments reflect the rapid progress in the hospital’s operations and its growing capacity to provide integrated healthcare services to citizens.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Board of Directors commended the efforts of all the hospital’s medical, administrative, and technical teams. The Board reaffirmed its commitment to continuing work under a comprehensive development plan aimed at enhancing the quality of healthcare services, achieving standards of quality and institutional excellence, and supporting the state’s directions and the New Republic’s vision for the development of the healthcare sector.
