رئيس جامعة السويس يعلن … تتويج الجامعة بجائزة “The Most Outstanding Chapter” للمرة الخامسة عالميًا لفرع Material Advantage

في إنجاز عالمي جديد يضاف إلى سجل إنجازات جامعة السويس، أعلن أ.د. أشــــــــرف حنيجــــــــل رئيس جامعة السويس، عن تتويج فرع Material Advantage Suez University Student Chapter بكلية هندسة البترول والتعدين بجائزة “The Most Outstanding Chapter” كأفضل فرع طلابي على مستوى فروع Material Advantage حول العالم، وذلك للمرة الخامسة في تاريخ الفرع.
ويأتي هذا التتويج ليؤكد المكانة الدولية المتميزة التي نجح فرع Material Advantage بجامعة السويس في ترسيخها على مدار أكثر من عشر سنوات من العمل الطلابي والعلمي والمجتمعي، حيث استطاع الفرع أن يحصد 5 جوائز “The Most Outstanding Chapter”، إلى جانب 6 جوائز “Chapter of Excellence”، بإجمالي 11 تتويجًا عالميًا، ليصبح بذلك أحد أبرز فروع Material Advantage تميزًا على المستوى الدولي.
وأكد أ.د. أشــــــــرف حنيجــــــــل رئيس الجامعة أن هذا الإنجاز يمثل مصدر فخر واعتزاز لجامعة السويس، مشيرًا إلى أن التتويج العالمي المتكرر لطلاب الجامعة يعكس ما يتمتعون به من تميز علمي وقدرات قيادية ومهارات تؤهلهم للمنافسة بقوة في المحافل الدولية.
وأشار سيادته إلى أن هذا السجل المشرف من الإنجازات يؤكد اهتمام الجامعة بدعم الأنشطة الطلابية المتميزة، وتوفير البيئة الأكاديمية التي تمكن الطلاب من تطوير مهاراتهم العلمية والعملية والقيادية، بما يسهم في إعداد كوادر قادرة على تمثيل الجامعة ومصر بصورة مشرفة على المستوى الدولي.
ومن جانبه، أعرب أ.د. عصام أحمد علي عميد كلية هندسة البترول والتعدين عن سعادته بهذا التتويج، مؤكدًا أن حصول فرع Material Advantage على جائزة “The Most Outstanding Chapter” للمرة الخامسة، إلى جانب 6 جوائز “Chapter of Excellence”، يعكس مستوى التميز الذي استطاع طلاب الفرع تحقيقه من خلال سنوات متواصلة من العمل الجاد والتخطيط والابتكار.
وفي هذا السياق، قدم رئيـــــس جامعـــــة السويـــــس خالص التقدير إلى أ.د. عادل محمد عامر، وكيل الكلية لشئون التعليم والطلاب والمشرف الأكاديمي لفرع Material Advantage، لما قدمه من دعم وتوجيه ومتابعة مستمرة للفرع وطلابه على مدار مسيرته، وما بذله من جهود في توفير بيئة داعمة ومحفزة للطلاب، ساعدتهم على تطوير أفكارهم وتحويل طموحاتهم إلى إنجازات ملموسة على المستوى الدولي.
كما وجه سيادته خالص التحية إلى ا.د. نفين علي، منسق الأنشطة الطلابية بالكلية، على جهودها المستمرة في دعم وتمكين الطلاب
ومساندة الأنشطة الطلابية، بما أسهم في توفير المناخ المناسب أمام فرع Material Advantage لمواصلة أنشطته وتحقيق المزيد من الإنجازات.
ويُعد فرع Material Advantage Suez University Student Chapter أحد النماذج المتميزة للأنشطة الطلابية بجامعة السويس، حيث تأسس في 18 فبراير 2015 بكلية هندسة البترول والتعدين، ومنذ انطلاقه عمل على دعم طلاب هندسة وعلوم المواد، وربط الجانب الأكاديمي بالتطبيقات العملية واحتياجات الصناعة، وفتح آفاق دولية أمام الطلاب في أحد المجالات الهندسية الحيوية المرتبطة بالصناعة والتكنولوجيا.

Suez University President Announces … University’s Material Advantage Chapter Wins “The Most Outstanding Chapter” Award for the Fifth Time Worldwide

In a new global achievement added to the distinguished record of Suez University, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heneigel, President of Suez University, announced that the Material Advantage Suez University Student Chapter at the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering has been awarded “The Most Outstanding Chapter” as the best student chapter among Material Advantage chapters worldwide, marking the fifth time in the chapter’s history that it has received this prestigious award.
This achievement reaffirms the outstanding international standing that the Material Advantage Chapter at Suez University has established over more than a decade of student, academic, and community engagement. The chapter has received five “The Most Outstanding Chapter” awards, in addition to six “Chapter of Excellence” awards, for a total of 11 international awards, making it one of the most distinguished Material Advantage chapters worldwide.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Heneigel, President of Suez University, affirmed that this achievement is a source of great pride for the university, noting that the repeated international recognition of its students reflects their academic excellence, leadership capabilities, and skills, which enable them to compete strongly on international platforms.
He further emphasized that this impressive record of achievements demonstrates the university’s commitment to supporting outstanding student activities and providing an academic environment that enables students to develop their scientific, practical, and leadership skills. This, in turn, contributes to preparing highly qualified graduates capable of representing the university and Egypt honorably at the international level.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Essam Ahmed Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering, expressed his delight at this achievement, stressing that the Material Advantage Chapter’s receipt of “The Most Outstanding Chapter” award for the fifth time, in addition to six “Chapter of Excellence” awards, reflects the high level of excellence that the chapter’s students have achieved through years of sustained hard work, planning, and innovation.
In this context, the President of Suez University expressed his sincere appreciation to Prof. Dr. Adel Mohamed Amer, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs and Academic Advisor to the Material Advantage Chapter, for his continuous support, guidance, and follow-up throughout the chapter’s journey, as well as for his efforts to provide a supportive and stimulating environment for students. His efforts have helped students develop their ideas and transform their aspirations into tangible achievements on the international stage.
He also extended his sincere appreciation to Prof. Dr. Nevin Ali, Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty, for her continuous efforts to support and empower students and promote student activities, thereby contributing to creating an appropriate environment for the Material Advantage Chapter to continue its activities and achieve further accomplishments.
The Material Advantage Suez University Student Chapter is considered one of the university’s outstanding student-activity models. It was established on February 18, 2015, at the Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering. Since its establishment, the chapter has worked to support students in Materials Engineering and Materials Science, bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical applications and industrial needs, and open international opportunities for students in a vital engineering field closely connected to industry and technology.
